To solve a problem every Mum, Dad and Grandparent have. Infant and Toddler falls are a leading cause of infant injury requiring presentation to hospital Emergency Departments. Nursery furniture is a common factor in these injuries.
Change tables are among the contributing items, along with cots. As Infants become increasingly mobile they become more prone to falls from heights. Head injuries are common, reflecting the top-heavy nature of babies and toddlers.
18 months and lots of late nights and hard work later, Sian created the design and innovation patents for the SafeChange. Sian also created 48 hand sewn iterations leading to the final product which Sian called "BooRoo SafeChange".
Sian launched BooRoo in 2004 at the Melbourne Parent and Baby Expo and sold out 10,000 units in 36 hours. Sian then took back orders for an additional 12,000 units in the following day and a half. Sian also won the "Best New Baby Product of the Year " in 2004. This photo to the left represents the inspiration and heart of BRB.

In 2003 Sian had a 3 year old and a new born, both very active. Sian, who was juggling attention between her children, experienced the fear of her new born nearly rolling off the change table. In that moment of fear came clarity. It was then that Sian had the idea for the solution. Sian decided to make a product that kept her toddler safe during nappy change times. Change time could be quite stressful with a toddler who was very active and a baby who was just as active. Sian's daughter's names are Billie-Jayne and Riley and Sian's term of endearment for her daughters were Boo and Roo respectively. Sian's son's name is Bodie, which is why "BRB" represents Billie, Riley and Bodie.

Sian then successfully placed BooRoo SafeChange into the retail space before having to cease business due to post natal depression. 21 years later, Sian and BRB Co Founder Dan, are relaunching and rebranding into the e-commerce space as
"BooRooBaby SafeChange".
